Meet Leo Sir Didymus: Our Furry Assistant & Forever Love

If you’ve worked with us for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard his name whispered with great reverence (and maybe a little laughter): **Leo Sir Didymus**.

Leo is our pup — the most wonderful, loving, affectionate, feisty, barky boy you will ever meet. He is equal parts cuddle bug and tiny protector. He believes every knock at the door is a situation that requires immediate commentary. He also believes every human exists primarily to give him attention. Honestly? He’s not wrong.

Leo is backpack trained (yes, really). Which means he has joined us on adventures all over the Pacific Northwest — tucked safely into a backpack like the royalty he is. And on more than one occasion, he’s been invited to weddings we’re photographing. There have even been moments where he has quite literally been our furry assistant… riding on my back while I shoot.

Is it iconic? Yes.
Is he aware of his importance? Also yes.

Beyond the feisty barks and wedding cameos, Leo is the heart of our home. He greets us like we’ve been gone for years (even if it’s been 20 minutes). He insists on being close — preferably touching — at all times. He has mastered the art of the dramatic sigh. He has also mastered our hearts.

Running a business can be full and fast and beautiful and chaotic. Leo is the soft place we land at the end of it all. He is the reminder to go outside. To take the long walk. To pause. To cuddle. To laugh.

He is the love of our life.
